Thenatan Underwater 2 is an audio effect plugin designed to create a submerged, blurred filter character for vocals and other sounds. It builds on the sound associated with the original Underwater while introducing a redesigned processing architecture centered around multiple filter stages.
The plugin is suited to producers and mixers looking for a distinctive drowned or slurred effect. Its filtering, reduction, and drive stages can be combined to shape the intensity and movement of the processed signal.
Software Overview

The effect can be applied to vocals and other audio sources to create a muffled, fluid and heavily filtered character. The processing chain includes eight filter stages capable of reaching 96 dB/oct, a redux stage, and up to 36 dB of drive. The interface also features an animated face that responds visually to the incoming audio.
