Audiority Distortion 1 MkII is an analog-modeled distortion plugin inspired by the iconic BOSS DS-1 distortion pedal introduced in the late 1970s. It recreates the character of a classic distortion circuit associated with the sound of many influential guitarists, making it suitable for guitar processing and creative audio production.
The plugin provides independent Tone, Distortion, and Level controls, allowing users to shape the tonal balance, adjust distortion intensity, and manage output volume. Its collection of eight circuit types offers different distortion characteristics for a range of guitar tones.
Additional controls include pre- and post-effect gain, a Mix control, and a Noise Gate. Integrated level meters provide visual feedback, while the resizable interface allows users to adjust the plugin window to suit their workspace.
