This course teaches journalism throughreal reporting practice.
Drawing on my professional reporting archive and experience — including newsroom and freelance work withReuters, BBC and Dow Jones Newswires/The Wall Street Journal Asia, alongside contributions toForbes Asia, Institutional Investor, The Banker, The Asset and other international publications — I'll take you behind the finished article and show you the reporting decisions that produce it.
This is not designed as a purely academic introduction to journalism.
Instead, we'll work throughreal professional reporting examples and newsroom methods to examine how journalists find angles, build source strategies, verify information, interpret numbers, interview sources, structure stories and edit their work for publication.

The objective isn't for you to imitate my writing.
It's to understand thereporting process behind professional journalism and develop methods you can adapt to your own work.
