Description

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. The course structure and production were developed with AI assistance, reviewed and edited by me using my QA architecture experience, and narrated using a cloned version of my own voice.
You finished the fundamentals and can verify that a user received the expected access. This course is the next Level: testing the IdentityIQ machinery that produces and governs that access, the way a senior QA or QE architect approaches it.
SailPoint Advanced Testing is a hands-on, honestly scoped course for manual testers, IAM testers, and QA engineers moving into advanced quality engineering. Across 19 focused lectures, you will use a local synthetic IdentityIQ simulation, inject controlled failures, inspect state transitions, and capture evidence that can support a real defect, audit discussion, or release decision.
You will test correlation and identity-attribute rules, including rehire, duplicate-identity, near-duplicate, and authoritative-source-mismatch cases. You will validate account aggregation and reconciliation, provisioning success, failure and retry behavior, certification campaigns, delegation and escalation, compound and cross-application segregation of duties, policy simulation, mitigation and exception workflows, BeanShell rules, workflow debugging, REST and SCIM-style API testing, CI/CD regression, volume and performance behavior, and audit-evidence reconciliation.
The course finishes with a practical capstone in which you bring these techniques together and make a defensible release-readiness go or no-go decision.
HONEST SCOPE
This course focuses on SailPoint IdentityIQ. It includes a clear comparison of IdentityIQ and Identity Security Cloud so you can understand the product boundary, but it does not pretend to demonstrate an ISC tenant. Hands-on work runs in a clearly labeled local training simulation using synthetic data. No SailPoint license is required.
