Hello there!
Nmap is a very important tool when it comes to the world of ethical hacking. It helps you scan the ports of your target machine to see if there are any vulnerable ports or services present. It can also be used to hack into a few services using the Nmap Scripting Engine
This course was made with beginner and intermediate ethical hackers in mind. You will learn the basics of Nmap, and build your knowledge onto some advanced tools like the Nmap scripting engine, firewall evasion, etc.
We will be doing all of this with a virtual target machine, called metasploitable. It is is machine that is vulnerable to a lot of different exploits and we will be able to understand a lot of these services as we progress.
I will also be talking about what to do next, after you've mastered Nmap. I'll show you some of the methods I've used to become better at ethical hacking, which you might find interesting too!
This course not only has videos, but cheat sheets, and loads of quizzes through which you can test your knowledge too! It is very important to keep testing yourself!
