When you enter a transaction withdrawal or deposit, the Excel file automatically updates the balance. You do not have to use a calculator. Two balances are shown - the anticipated balance and the reconciled balance.
RECONCILING WITH THE BANK IS EASY. Select "Y" when the transaction clears your bank and the reconciled balance automatically updates.
Place a checkmark next to the last reconciled transaction so you can start from that point next time.
