The inspiration to create a fast-path to using the power of Python came when teaching cyber security officers for the United States Department of Defense (DoD) cyber-security task force. Frustrated in the midst of a lesson on Object Orientation, a young sergeant turned to me to ask "Why are your teaching me all of this?" After explaining to this Marine why OO can be important, I resolved to create an educational opportunity for professionals needing to use Python as quickly as possible.
