The exam covers 8 domains; in this course, we will be covering Domain 7, with respect to the May 2021 exam update.
This course focuses on how we secure our day-to-day operations, how we continue to function in a disaster event, and how we recover after an event. This domain also has some areas that cover miscellaneous topics.
In domain 7, we will cover the investigation's support and requirements, logging, and monitoring activities. Then we will cover provisioning of resources; foundational security operations concepts; resource protection techniques; preventative measures; patch and vulnerability management; change management processes; incident management; recovery strategies; disaster recovery processes and plans; business continuity planning and exercises; and finally, personnel safety concerns. The course also includes 30 practice questions to test our learning from the course.
By the end of this course, you will be prepared for Domain 6 of the CISSP exam.
