Description
This video course is designed for those suffering from neck pain, a stiff neck, or poor slouched posture. Learn how to improve the mobility of your neck. The chest and shoulder blade muscles play a huge role in pulling us into a poor posture. Looking down at our phones does not help the situation at all. Learning the release and stretch these muscle is a major key to improvement. Postural exercises are the next thing that is important. Taking pressure off the spine and nerves with improved posture and less tension is the optimal goal. Stephen Dunn is a licensed Physical Therapist since 1998 in the states of Louisiana, California, and Texas. He specializes in treating spinal pain and spinal injuries. Certified in Manual Therapy, Pilates, and Gyrotonic, Stephen brings a unique approach to his patients by combining Myofascial Release, and Cranial-Sacral Therapy with mindful movement on the Pilates and Gyrotonic equipment. One of the most common things that Stephen sees in his patients in Austin / Westlake Hills, Texas with neck pain is a forward head and slouched posture. Technology and mostly phones play a role in this posture. This video course will address neck pain and finally give you a plan to improve your posture. If you sit or stand too much looking down at your phone, bend over and slouch like a 90-year-old grandmother, or are looking for an alternative to medications to manage your neck pain, then this course is for you.
