This course provides you to learning experience in the development of Radar equation for various conditions. It briefs on frequencies used for radar application. It proves the modification radar equation from basic to usable in the various application. This course differentiates the ambiguous and unambiguous range of radar. The basic building blocks of the radar is explained with suitable conditions, It consists radar transmitter and receiver. Radar transmitter and receivers elaborated in this course with various conditions. It explains the prediction of range performance at various condition. It explains the minimum detectable signal level required by the radar receivers. The signal received at radar receiver contains noise, to suppress the noise, apply the threshold level to remove noise. The noise removal process is discussed in this course. Receiver's noise consideration for development of radar equations is discussed in the course. It shows the level of signal to noise ratio requirement for the detection of the echo signal received from the target. It provides understanding of false alarm time and probability of echo signal received at receiver from the target. It demonstrates the radar cross section from the echo signal received at radar receiver. It elaborates transmitter power requirement suitable for echo signal reception from the target at various angle. It shows the requirement of pulse repetition frequency for ambiguities in the signal reception at radar receiver. It elaborates the system loss at radar from various conditions. This course is helpful for understanding the radar basic and range equations.
