Description
In this course you'll begin the path from Noob to Ninja in SQL Server. You'll learn a very practical and foundational path for designing and creating SQL Server databases. As this course series progresses, we'll be using the very same database that we create in this course, and we'll expand it and refactor it.
Although this course is specifically for SQL Server database design and development it will give you good foundational database understanding which will serve you in all relational database design and development, regardless of which database platform you are using.
You can simply watch this course and do the quick quizzes between lectures, but you'll get the best personal growth results if you develop along with each lecture. There is no substitute for actively working on a database to become a Ninja, this course series will just help you along that path and give you some great shortcuts.
If you're a Noob and have never done any development on databases, this course is for you. If you are a frontend or API developer and want to better understand databases, this course is for you. If you have used other databases and would like to move to SQL Server, this course is for you. If you already have some knowledge in SQL Server, then this is the beginning of a course series that'll take you all the way to SQL Server Ninja!
Who this course is for
