Sketching Your Story Three Panel Comic Exercise

In this class, we'll use simple drawing techniques to tell a story in three panel comic form. We cover the basics of building a simple character, practice expressions, work through backgrounds, and finally create a short three panel story.
This is a stand alone class but pairs with the principles in my class Feeling Stuck? Doodle your way out!
These exercises are meant to guide you through the steps to making a simple three panel comic and do not require a finished or precise drawing style. We use modifications of the techniques in Ivan Brunetti's Cartooning Philosophy and Practice. Keep it light and don't forget to have fun. Take this as your chance to make something simple without being attached to a perfect finished product. The simpler the better!
