The Hebrew concept "Krav Maga" means contact fight.
Krav Maga is a fight system of the Israeli army (Israeli Defense Forces, briefly IDF) developed by Imi Lichtenfeld, in the mid' thirties.
Because of all the violation against the Israeli people and the maximum efficiency of Krav Maga, later this fight system was also taught to the civil population.
Nowadays Krav Maga is not just used in Israel, also a lot of international military and police units are using it. Krav Maga is a hard and uncompromising self-defense method.
Because of it's efficiency it's taught increasing in civil training centers in the USA as well as in Europe.
This film contains the techniques and training methods of the first level of education. Among other things are
The Knowledge how to roll, punch and kicking techniques, special self-defense techniques, stress and hardening training techniques.
The actors of this Film are Jürgen Köhler and Bernd Höhle. They learned Krav maga among other things directly in Israel and were trained by several skilled Israely instructors.
Nowadays Jürgen Köhler and Bernd Höhle are counted among few Krav Maga instructors that are recognized in several different Krav Maga styles, federations as a black belt or instructor.
Both were distinguished among other things with the Best-Instructor-Award for their activity as trainers.
They were taken in the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame as well.
