When it comes to managing a basement renovation project, staying organized is key. Using Excel to track all aspects of the project—from budgeting to progress updates—helps ensure everything is on track and stays within budget. Here's how I structured the basement renovation project and how Excel became an essential tool for keeping things organized.We will track the materials needed for each basement section. We have two bedrooms, a bathroom, a common hallway area, and a combo kitchen/dining/living area. Each area will have a list of materials for renovation and products for decorating the area, with respective labor cost for each area. The dates listed are for reference of when the project costs was retrieved and can be updated to when the project has actually been completed. It is your choice.
