Description
This is Zero to Professional course for aspiring timers and meet scorers, focusing on Track & Field and Cross Country (with a little Road Race component), using FinishLynx, MeetPro, Hy-Tek Meet Manager, and scoreboard software. We'll do an extensive walkthrough of FinishLynx, learn how to connect everything to minimize errors, set up meet management programs, learn about scoreboards and scoreboard software, learn to troubleshoot many of the things that can go wrong with FinishLynx, and talk about weird uses cases of FinishLynx. I've also spent a lesson talking about my business setup and suggest ways you can monetize your skills, while fitting into the marketplace. There's also a lesson related to RaceDay Scoring, which is the premier Road Race Timing solution available as of 2025.This training is normally done in person, but the upgrade in technology over the last 10 years has allowed me to move this course online, saving money, allowing for replicability, and creating a similar learning environment to what I've been able to achieve in person.I've helped dozens of timers around the MidSouth and Midwest learn to time, let me help you improve your skills or teach you from scratch, in a way that puts you in control of your progress and pace!
