What you'll learn

The purpose of this tutorial in particular for electrical technicians and for those who wish to get knowledge about electrical panel designing and maintenance.
We will provide a detailed study of the schematic drawing, form of separation, ingress protection of electrical panel, controls, components, repair, maintenance
This course includes the knowledge the distribution board, sub-main board, control section, main circuit breaker, transformer, and power source.
The value of three-phase voltage is different in various countries and those are 440 volts, 415 volts, 400 volts, 380 volts and 220 volts respectively.

Requirements

Just basic electrical knowledge id enough to learn this course

Description

The AMF control system is used to provide a second power supply to panels with two incoming sections or two incoming sections with a bus coupler. The AMF system controls the power supply of the MSB when the main power source fails. The logic of the control circuit used to transfer power is described here with a single line drawing. The main power is connected through MPFR and generator power connected through GPFR.Other interlocks are also provided in between the NC of K1 and K2. That means to close relay K1, MPFR need to activate. The relay K2 will not close unless the GPFR is not active. As soon as the MPFR realizes the failure of the main power source, the power supply to the primary side control stops (relay K1 opens).Followed by the main breaker opening and the off-timer (K4) sending a signal to start the generator. The working principle of the power transfer is the same as that of the panel with two incoming sides. The only difference is the operation of the bus coupler, which is controlled in conjunction with the main incoming breaker. When the main breaker closes, the bus coupler will receive the closing signal, and if the main breaker is open, the bus coupler will also open. This panel is divided into two sections, such as non-essential and essential. The two sections are joined together with a bus coupler inside the panel. The essential side supplies power to the areas where continuous power is required, and the other section supplies power to the non-essential areas. The two sections are joined together with a bus coupler inside the panel.
