In today's class we'll look at a photo of an interesting scene from the Cog Railway, Mt Washington, New Hampshire, USA. The image offers interesting depth of layers; from the blue sky, railway cars, and mountains in the distance, that we can use as an inspiration piece. We'll examine the image, then create a simple pencil sketch. From there, we'll begin painting layers that capture "something" about the photo that makes it unique. It could be the color, shape, or even the size of the object.
