Despite apparent animosity, practical solutions and theories proposed by geopolitics find resonance within the business world, and vice versa. Concepts like critical theory, disruption, hegemony, strategic rivalry, and cost-effectiveness hold common ground in both realms, even though they have historically been disregarded. ![]() Free Download Geometry Through Stories: You Can Master Geometry (Math Mastery) by Jenny Kellett English | July 22nd, 2023 | ISBN: 6192641870 | 138 pages | True EPUB | 5.41 MB The Fun Way to Master Geometry ![]() Free Download Geometric Analysis on Real Analytic Manifolds (Lecture Notes in Mathematics) by Andrew D. Lewis English | November 8, 2023 | ISBN: 3031379128 | 332 pages | MOBI | 62 Mb This monograph provides some useful tools for performing global geometric analysis on real analytic manifolds. At the core of the methodology of the book is a variety of descriptions for the topologies for the space of real analytic sections of a real analytic vector bundle and for the space of real analytic mappings between real analytic manifolds. Among the various descriptions for these topologies is a development of geometric seminorms for the space of real analytic sections. To illustrate the techniques in the book, a number of fundamental constructions in differential geometry are shown to induce continuous mappings on spaces of real analytic sections and mappings. ![]() Free Download Manuel Enrique Pardo Echarte, "Geology of Cuba " English | ISBN: 3030677974 | 2021 | 337 pages | PDF | 28 MB The evolution of geological cartography in Cuba in its more than 135 years of history has been possible through the consultation of numerous archival reports, publications, maps and personal interviews with different authors and geologists of vast experience. A brief critical analysis is made of the increase in the degree of geological knowledge of the country since the elaboration of the Geological Sketch of the Cuban Island at a scale of 1: 2 000 000 (Fernández de Castro, 1883), first of Cuba and of Ibero-America, until the most recent Digital Geological Map of Cuba at scale 1: 100 000 (Pérez Aragón, 2016). Cuba and its surroundings are a geological mosaic in the southeast corner of the North American plate with rocks from many different origins, from Proterozoic to Quaternary, extended along the southern border of the plate. From the Eocene, this belt has been dissected by several great faults, related to the development of some great oceanic depressions (Cayman trough and Yucatan basin). The fossil record of Cuba, which covers approximately the last 200 million years of life on Earth, is rich in very varied fossils, witnessing a wide diversity of organisms, both animals and plants, that inhabited the Antillean and Caribbean region; and that constitute the inheritance of the biological diversity that the current Cuban archipelago exhibits. As a result of the preparation of the Cuban Metallogenic Map at scale 1: 250 000, forty-one models and eight sub-models of metallic mineral deposits were identified. These models, of descriptive-genetic type, together with the analysis of their spatial distribution and their relationship with geology, allowed the identification and mapping of ten mineral systems, linked to the geodynamic environments present in the Cuban territory. Cuba has large deposits of limestone, loam, dolomite, kaolin, gypsum and anhydrite, rock salt, marbles, sands and clays of different types, zeolites, peat, therapeutic peloids and many more. Thereare manifestations of decorative and precious rocks such as jasper, jadeite, different varieties of quartz and even xylopals. A compilation of geochemical data of oceanic basalt samples from previous works, together with data of analyzed samples during this study in order to discuss geochemical criteria based on immobile element (proxies for fractionation indices, alkalinity, mantle flow and subduction addition), provide a comprehensive ophiolite classification according to their tectonic setting. This book addresses different facets of the geological knowledge of Cuba: history of its cartography, marine geology, fossil record, stratigraphy, tectonics, classification of its ophiolites, quaternary deposits, metallogeny and minerageny. ![]() Free Download Geoffrey Chaucer: Unveiling the Merry Bard (Medieval Lives) by Mary Flannery English | July 30th, 2024 | ISBN: 1789148634 | 224 pages | True EPUB | 15.30 MB A new critical biography of medieval England's most famous poet. ![]() Free Download Lydia Pyne, "Genuine Fakes: How Phony Things Teach Us About Real Stuff " English | ISBN: 147296182X | 2019 | 304 pages | EPUB | 4 MB Is the distinction between "real" and "fake" as clear-cut as we think? ![]() Free Download Jon Balserak, "Geneva's Use of Lies, Deceit, and Subterfuge, 1536-1563: Telling the Old, Old Story in Reformation France " English | ISBN: 0197672302 | 2024 | 336 pages | PDF | 5 MB Geneva was hated and loved in sixteenth-century France. Representing those who hated them were the French Catholic government, who tried desperately to eradicate Genevan Calvinism from its borders-for good reason, as it was growing significantly within France between 1540 and 1563. This book presents a new reading of the battle that raged between the Genevan ministers and the French government during this period. It argues that Calvin, after fleeing France in 1534, began during his wanderings to devise plans to establish Christ's kingdom in his homeland, rescuing it from the "idolatrous" Catholicism imposed on the French people by their monarchs. It shows that Calvin's plans entailed the systematic use of lying and deception which were necessary in order to evade detection from the French authorities. These mendacious means were employed by the Genevans to hide their support of the French Reformed congregations, to conceal political maneuvering among the French nobility who could open France to reform, and to cloak their assisting of the Huguenots during the first French civil war. ![]() Free Download Genetic Reconstruction of the Past: DNA Analysis in Forensics and Human Evolution by Henry A. Erlich English | December 15, 2023 | ISBN: 0197675360 | 224 pages | MOBI | 2.93 Mb The same DNA technology that allows the analysis of a hair or tiny blood spot at a crime scene also enables sequencing the DNA of a bone fragment from a Neanderthal skeleton. Comparing the DNA sequences of different samples and comparing the frequency of specific genetic variants in different populations is a critical part of both forensic and evolutionary investigations. These two fields share a common goal: solving historical mysteries. The book discusses the intrinsic human curiosity about our origins and the desire to solve crimes and seek justice and how the recent emergence of DNA analysis has transformed our ability to address these universal human aspirations. ![]() Free Download Catherine Nash, "Genetic Geographies: The Trouble with Ancestry Ed 3" English | ISBN: 0816690731 | 2015 | 240 pages | AZW3 | 491 KB What might be wrong with genetic accounts of personal or shared ancestry and origins? Genetic studies are often presented as valuable ways of understanding where we come from and how people are related. In Genetic Geographies, Catherine Nash pursues their troubling implications for our perception of sexual and national, as well as racial, difference. ![]() Free Download Jonathan Slack, "Genes: A Very Short Introduction " English | ISBN: 019967650X | 201 4 | 144 pages | AZW3 | 743 KB If you are looking for educational materials, our website offers free downloadable online courses.
